Hey there! My name is Matt and I’m a huge fan of hamsters. These little critters are so adorable and fun to watch, and I always want to make sure they’re healthy and happy.

But as a responsible pet owner, I also want to make sure that I’m not accidentally harming my hamster by giving them the wrong kinds of food. So, is it okay if my hamster eats bedding? That’s what I’m here to find out!

Now, before we dive into the topic at hand, let me tell you a little story about my first experience with hamsters and bedding.

I was at my friend’s house and we were hanging out in her bedroom when we noticed that her hamster had somehow gotten out of her cage and was running around with a piece of bedding in her mouth.

We were a little worried, but after a few minutes, it became clear that the hamster was just playing with the bedding and wasn’t actually eating it.

We had a good laugh about it and learned that hamsters are really curious creatures that like to explore and play with all kinds of things. Who knew bedding could be so much fun?!
